Among the many activities happening recently on the Everett Waterfront, the construction and placement of the Grand Avenue Park bridge is certainly a very visible one. The bridge which will support City of Everett combined sewer and stormwater system infrastructure will also provide a pedestrian connection from Grand Avenue Park to the waterfront. Everett Surface Water Manager and Bridge Project Manager Heather Griffin will join us to describe and illustrate the engineering challenges to place this bridge across both West Marine View Drive and the BNSF railroad tracks.
